Green Man Gaming Publishing partners with French studio DEVS MUST DIE on Skybolt Zack

By | Blog, Feature Corporate Blog

Green Man Gaming Publishing are thrilled to announce their latest publishing deal and first ever console release. The partnership with French developer, DEVS MUST DIE, will bring Skybolt Zack – an all new take on high speed, reflex testing, platform action – to gamers worldwide later this year.

Skybolt Zack was originally created as a student project at Parisian video game school, ISART Digital Paris, and draws inspiration from classic platformers and Japanese rhythm games. Starting out on PC, Green Man Gaming Publishing will be taking its first step into the console market as the game will also launch on Nintendo Switch.

On the move to console, David Clark, Managing Director of Green Man Gaming Publishing, had this to say: “It has long been an ambition for Green Man Gaming to expand our horizons and extend our reach beyond PC gaming. When we first saw Skybolt Zack it was almost immediately apparent that this was the game for us to make that jump! The work that DEVS MUST DIE have done with Skybolt Zack in a relatively short time have impressed us tremendously. They are incorporating options for players which we’re not seeing in products from much larger, long standing studios and we can’t wait to show more to the community at various events across the summer.”

Paul Sulyok, CEO and Founder of Green Man Gaming said of the masked hero: “We’re excited to finally reveal our new hire. The Green Gamer represents everything our brand is about – gaming for good. We’re a plastic free business and know that gaming in moderation can help with a range of physical, mental and emotional challenges, from PTSD and anxiety to enhancing the skills needed to train the world’s top brain surgeons. This is the first time The Green Gamer has made a public appearance and you can expect to see a lot more of them this year and beyond.”
