Green Man Gaming Publishing partners with French studio DEVS MUST DIE on Skybolt Zack

By | Blog

Green Man Gaming Publishing are thrilled to announce their latest publishing deal and first ever console release. The partnership with French developer, DEVS MUST DIE, will bring Skybolt Zack – an all new take on high speed, reflex testing, platform action – to gamers worldwide later this year.

Skybolt Zack was originally created as a student project at Parisian video game school, ISART Digital Paris, and draws inspiration from classic platformers and Japanese rhythm games. Starting out on PC, Green Man Gaming Publishing will be taking its first step into the console market as the game will also launch on Nintendo Switch.

On the move to console, David Clark, Managing Director of Green Man Gaming Publishing, had this to say: “It has long been an ambition for Green Man Gaming to expand our horizons and extend our reach beyond PC gaming. When we first saw Skybolt Zack it was almost immediately apparent that this was the game for us to make that jump! The work that DEVS MUST DIE have done with Skybolt Zack in a relatively short time have impressed us tremendously. They are incorporating options for players which we’re not seeing in products from much larger, long standing studios and we can’t wait to show more to the community at various events across the summer.”

Green Man Gaming to run 10k marathon for Special Effect charity

By | Blog

On 21st July, Green Man Gaming staff will be joining the massive 150 strong SpecialEffect charity team to run the Asics London 10K marathon. The sheer number of people joining the Special Effect team this year has broken the charity’s record of 125 runners last year, possibly making it the largest team taking part in the marathon!

The Green Man Gaming team have entered the marathon not only to meet their own set goals but to achieve something even greater – to support and raise money for a fantastic charity. Special Effect is a charity that puts fun and inclusion back into the lives of people with physical disabilities by helping them play video games – something close to all our hearts. This is charity that Green Man Gaming has supported for many, many years.

Please support the Green Man Gaming and Special Effect team on this journey to reach our target by making a donation on our Just Giving page!

P/S: We’re more than half way to our target – help us reach it!
